Top Drive Saver Sub

Top Drive Saver Sub(Slick)

Top Drive Saver Sub(Belled)

Top Drive Saver Sub acts as a sacrificial component between the top drive and the drill string, protecting both systems from wear and damage.
Configurations: Pin × Pin and Box × Pin are the most common.
Dimensions: Can be customized to meet specific rig requirements.
Optional features: Keyway slots, belled ends, slick profiles, and other design enhancements are available.

Crossover Sub

Crossover Sub(Slick)

Crossover Sub is used to connect different thread types or sizes within the drill string and can also serve as a sacrificial component.
Configurations: Box × Pin, Pin × Pin, and Box × Box.
OD & ID: Typically matched to the connection sizes used in the drill string.
Length: Can be customized, or manufactured to API 7-1 (36″ OAL) or DS-1 (48″ OAL) standards.
Design options: Slick or belled (fishneck) profiles are available.

Casing Sub

Casing Sub

Casing Sub is used to transition from drill pipe connections to casing connections during completion operations.
Configuration: Box (drill tubular) × Pin (casing) is the most common.
Design options: Slick or fishneck profiles are available.
The pin end can be hollowed out to facilitate easier handling and make-up.

Pickup Sub

Pickup Sub

Pickup Sub is used for lifting drill string components with an elevator.
Configuration: Top cap × Pin.
The top cap and shank are typically manufactured to match the drill pipe tool joint and tube dimensions to ensure proper elevator fit. The tool joint and thread connection can be customized as required to suit the drill string or accessories being handled.

Pup Joint/Drillable Pickup Sub

Pup Joint & Drillable Pickup Sub
Pup Joint / Drillable Pickup Sub is used for lifting drill string components with an elevator and can also be run downhole with other drilling tools.
Configuration: Box × Pin is the most common.
Length: Typically available in lengths up to 30 ft.

Blow Down Sub & Circulating Sub

Kelly Blown Down Sub

Blow Down Sub is used to pump fluid into the drill string.
Configuration: Hammer Union × Box in a one-piece design, or NPT/LP Box × Box to allow use with a nipple joint.t with a nipple joint.

Circulating Sub

Circulating Sub is used to pump fluid into the drill string.
Configuration: Hammer Union × Pin in a one-piece design, or NPT/LP Box × Pin to allow the operator to use it with a nipple joint.

Lift Nubbin

Lift Nubbin is used to lift drill string components using the handle on top.
Configurations: Lift handle × Pin or Lift handle × Box.
Testing: Pull-tested to verify lifting integrity.
Material: Manufactured from cast steel or machined steel billet.

Side Entry Sub (Integral)

Side Entry Sub(Integral)

Side Entry Sub is used to pump fluid into the drill string.
Configuration: Box × Pin with a side-mounted Hammer Union, machined as an integral one-piece body.
Testing: Hydraulically tested to 15,000 psi

Bit Sub & Float Sub

Bit Sub(Slick)

Bit Sub(Fishneck)

Bit Sub is used to house a float (check valve) above the drill bit to prevent backflow.
Configuration: Box × Box. The lower box, which connects to the drill bit, incorporates a float bore.
Design options: Slick or belled (fishneck) profile.

Float Sub

Float Sub functions similarly to a Bit Sub but features a Box × Pin configuration, with the float bore located adjacent to the box end.

Lower Kelly Cock (Valve) & Inside BOP(Valve)

Lower Kelly Cock (Valve)

Lower Kelly Cock is installed within the drill string to allow free passage of drilling fluid without pressure loss. It is specifically designed to provide effective control of blowouts and manage mud losses.

Inside BOP(Valve), IBOPInside BOP (Valve) is used to control backflow from high-pressure formations through the drill string to the surface when joints are added. It also enables downward circulation of drilling fluid within the drill string.

Drift

Drift - UHMW

Drift is used to pass through drill tubulars and accessories to verify internal diameter clearance and/or straightness.
Material: Made from UHMW (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight polyethylene).
